studio, run on the same standard.
the creator and media side. same rules, different audience.
Dirty South Alpha began as an engineering house: models on my own hardware, one memory every tool shares, nothing leaving the house unless I say so. This is the other half of the same name — the channels, the persona work, and the trading operation — and it is run on the same standard. That is the whole point of putting both under one roof: if the discipline is real, it has to hold for the part that is not about code.
why one name, two doors
An engineering brand and a creator brand are usually kept apart, because mixing them reads as incoherent. The argument for keeping them together is stronger: the same person owns the stack, the audience, and the money, and each door is evidence for the other. The engineering house proves the media work is not smoke; the media work proves the engineering is not a hobby. What is genuinely separate is the trading operation, which is quarantined on purpose and reported on its own terms.
the channels
the persona work
Behind the feeds is a scoring pipeline that measures how well a persona holds up. It is the same instinct as the rest of the house: do not assert, measure.
the same three rules
An audience built on a platform you do not control is rented. The channels are the surface; the owned list is the asset. Nothing is published that cannot also be republished somewhere I own.
The same rule as the engineering house. A channel claim is a measurement with a method, or it is marketing. The persona scorers exist for exactly this reason.
The trading operation is separate from both the engineering and the media work. It is validated on out-of-sample data, and it is reported honestly — including the time it failed, which is documented on the case studies page.
what is deliberately not published here
- Follower counts and revenue. A number without a method is a boast, and this house publishes methods.
- The persona prompts. They are the working material, not the product.
- The trading positions and the strategy internals. The validation result is published; the edge itself is not, because publishing it would destroy it.
- Client names from the MSP work — withheld by the same policy as the case studies page.
