Get StreamShield up and running in minutes
Click the button below to download StreamShield v5.1.0 for Windows.
Download for WindowsDouble-click StreamShield-Setup-5.1.0.exe to launch the installer. Follow the on-screen prompts.
After installation, StreamShield will start automatically. The icon will appear in your system tray.
Right-click the downloaded ZIP file and select "Extract All..." to unpack the extension.
Open Chrome and navigate to chrome://extensions/. Enable "Developer mode" in the top right, then click "Load unpacked" and select the extracted folder.
Firefox will prompt you to install the add-on. Click "Add" to complete the installation.
Extract the ZIP file, then open Edge and navigate to edge://extensions/. Enable "Developer mode" and click "Load unpacked" to select the extracted folder.
Open the APK file on your Android device. You may need to enable "Install from unknown sources" in your settings.
When prompted, enable the local VPN connection. This allows StreamShield to filter DNS requests locally on your device.
Linux packages (AppImage and .deb) are currently in final testing. Join our newsletter to be notified when they're available.
Coming SoonMake sure you have administrator privileges. Right-click the installer and select "Run as administrator".
Ensure "Developer mode" is enabled in the extensions page. Also verify you extracted the ZIP file completely before loading.
Check your device's VPN settings. StreamShield creates a local VPN - your traffic is NOT routed through external servers. This is normal and expected behavior.
